Filth Latex
Overview
Amsterdam-based latex designer Stuart Craig asked me to help him create Filth Latex from the ground up.
With no name and only a loose idea of where he wanted to take it, more McLaren and Westwood, punk and club than traditional fetishwear, the opportunity was to create something distinctive within the latex fashion market.
My Role
I developed the brand from its initial positioning and naming through to its verbal and visual identity, creating a set of systems that positioned Filth Latex as handcrafted and premium, with an emphasis on provenance and quality.
I led the creative direction across identity, photography, campaigns, print, packaging and digital.
Impact
Filth Latex now sells internationally, with a growing presence and significant following within the latex and alternative fashion scene.
The brand continues to expand its reach through exhibitions and fashion shows in Germany, taking Filth Latex from an initial idea to an established independent label with an international audience.
